Pro FAQs

1) Registration, credentials & the Verified Professional badge chevron_right

Begin with the guided registration form: add contact details, profession, credentials, languages, profile imagery, and service coverage.

Once registration is complete, you can publish structured service listings and start receiving enquiries. Verification is a separate optional step.

  • Credential collection: Upload memberships, registration numbers, and insurance so clients can see your qualifications when viewing your profile and services.
  • Verification timing: Your profile stays pending until the identity check is paid for and confirmed.
  • Badge location: The Verified Professional tick appears on your listings and profile once identity and admin checks pass.
  • Re-verification: Triggered when core legal or ownership details change or during periodic audits.
Tip: keep your company name, trading address, and invoicing details aligned with your uploaded documents.

2) Identity verification, admin review & listing discovery chevron_right

The identity check is an optional one-off £19.99 fee (non-refundable), available after profile setup. It can be completed at any time.

  • Identity check: Third-party photo ID + selfie flow, then admin review for badge approval.
  • Listings & enquiries: All non-restricted professionals can publish structured service listings and receive enquiries whether they are unverified, verification pending, or verified.
  • Verified value: Verification adds a verified badge, higher search ranking, and stronger trust signals — but it does not gate listing access.

3) Messaging inbox chevron_right
  • Lead-first: Clients contact you first through messaging, then discuss requirements, timeline, and deliverables.

  • Notifications: Email and in-app notifications are sent when new enquiries arrive.
  • No upfront payment: Clients do not pay upfront — they contact you first and agree the work before any payment.

As a marketplace, MyLittleEyes does not mediate or resolve disputes between professionals and clients.

  • Your responsibility: Any disagreements about scope, quality, payment, or delivery are resolved directly between you and your client.
